Hey! I'm Hong Yi.

I'm a Computer Science & Business Double Degree student at the University of Waterloo. Currently, I'm helping grow Warp, the modern terminal. Previously, I've worked on product and engineering at Tesla and Uplift.

I also mentor the leadership team at Hack the North and assist in Multi-Modal NLP research with Prof. Robin Cohen and Liam Hebert. In school, I've helped build communities at Tech+ and built pro-bono software at UW Blueprint.

In a past life, I had a lot of fun building an environmental lifestyle brand and a streetwear collective.

In my free time, I love to read, stay active, and try new local foods.
